Terms and Conditions

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Impecable is invite-only. Access requires an approved application and a personal access code, or a valid invitation.
• One account per person. You must give accurate information and keep your profile honest and current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
• You may close your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account.

Impecable is a platform that helps approved members meet, and host or join group plans and trips arranged among themselves.

Impecable is not a travel agent, tour operator, or event organiser, and is not a party to any plan, trip, booking or meeting between members. [REVIEW] We do not arrange, supervise, or guarantee any trip, host, venue, accommodation or activity. Our review of an application is a basic screening, not a background check or an endorsement of any member. Any arrangement you enter into with another member is between you and them. You meet other members, and travel, entirely at your own risk. Take the usual precautions: meet in public first, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts.

• You must follow our Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms. Breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban.
• You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant Impecable a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share that content within the service so we can operate it. This licence ends when the content or your account is deleted, except for copies in backups and content already shared into a group others still belong to.
• You are responsible for your content and must have the right to post it. We may remove content or limit an account to protect members or comply with the law.
• You must not misuse the service: no scraping, no reverse engineering, no automated access, no interfering with its operation, no using it to send spam or to promote a business without our permission.

Impecable currently operates on an invite-only, free basis while it is in its opening phase. When paid membership is introduced:

• Tiers and prices will be shown in the app before you buy. Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes.
• Web purchases are sold by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy’s terms and refund policy apply to the transaction, in addition to these terms.
• Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including Apple’s rules on renewals and refunds.
• Memberships renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where the law, Apple, or Lemon Squeezy requires it, payments already made are non-refundable. [REVIEW]
• Founding and seed members receive their access without payment for as long as that status applies.

• We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the Community Guidelines, if we’re required to by law, or to protect members or the service.
• You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels any membership; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
• Sections that by their nature should survive — content licence for material already shared, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue after termination.

Impecable is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant or take responsibility for the identity, conduct, statements, or suitability of any member, host, or trip. [REVIEW]

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for a breach of your non-excludable rights as a consumer. [REVIEW]

Subject to that: we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, for anything arising from another member’s conduct or from a trip or meeting between members, or for business losses. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100. [REVIEW]

If a claim is brought against Impecable because of your breach of these terms, your content, or your conduct toward another person, you agree to be responsible for the reasonable losses and costs that result, to the extent the law allows. [REVIEW]

We may change the service or these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use Impecable after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don’t, you can delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of [[JURISDICTION]], and the courts of [[JURISDICTION]] have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home country, and may bring proceedings there.

Where you obtain the Impecable app from the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge:

• this agreement is between you and Impecable only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
• if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation;
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory non-conformity, or consumer-protection claims;
• Apple is not responsible for a third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights;
• you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist-supporting”, and are not on any US Government prohibited-parties list;
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
